These visual guides are designed to help library users become familiar with the physical space, services and supports offered by TU Dublin Blanchardstown Library.

TU Dublin Blanchardstown Library offers three visual guides to assist library users in becoming familiar with the physical library space on campus, as well as the services and supports provided by the library.

Visual Guide to Navigating the Library

This visual guide shows library users where to find the library on Blanchardstown Campus. It describes many of the physical aspects of using the library space, including:

  • why the library door is alarmed and what to do if it goes off
  • the Group/Quiet/Silent study areas
  • rules such as no phone calls or food in the library
  • a map for both floors of the library

Visual Guide to Library Services and Supports Part 1

This visual guide is the first of two parts. It informs library users how to avail of the various services and supports provided by the library, including:

  • how to search for books in the library catalogue
  • how to borrow and return books
  • how to pay a library fine
  • how to reserve books
